The Basics Coverage
Essential Component Coverage
$0 Deductible, Day One Coverage, Includes most makes and models (Commercial Vehicles excluded), Valid in all 50 states & Canada. Includes:
- Roadside Assistance

- Tire & Wheel Road Hazard Coverage
- Optional Key/Remote Replacement
Roadside Reimbursement
Valid for the term of the contract.

Windshield Repair (Not available in Kansas)
Covers the cost of repairs to the front windshield of minor chips and cracks caused by rocks or other propelled road debris.
Paintless Dent Repair
Paintless Dent Repair is a process that uses specialized tools to gently push the dented metal back to its original form. This removes dings and minor dents without harming a Vehicle's factory finish. Dents or dings that are not repairable using this process are not covered.
Tire & Wheel (Rim) Road Hazard Coverage
Coverage for the repair or replacement of the Vehicle's tires and wheels which become unserviceable due to Road Hazard while operating vehicle on public streets and in a legal manner.
Optional Key / Remote Replacement (Not available in Wyoming)
The Optional Key / Remote Replacement coverage will pay the reasonable repair / replacement cost in the event the key / remote is lost, stolen or destroyed. Some limitations do apply. Refer to The Basics contract for complete terms and conditions.
Standard Coverage
Engine
All internally lubricated parts including: pistons, piston rings and pins, crankshaft and main bearings, connecting rods and rod bearings, camshaft and bearings, oil pump, timing chain and/or gears, rocker arms, valves (burned or worn valves are expressly excluded), valve springs, seats and guides, valve pushrods and lifters. The engine block, cylinder head, and rotary housing are covered only if damaged by an internally lubricated part. Seals and gaskets are covered only when replaced as part of a covered repair.
Transmission
All internally lubricated parts in the transmission case and torque converter. The transmission case is covered only when damaged by an internally lubricated part.
Four Wheel Drive
All internal lubricated parts of transfer case and differential – front and rear. (4×4 option must be selected for this coverage).
Cooling System
Water pump and thermostat.
Fuel System (Standard Plus Only)
Fuel Injectors. For Gas and Diesel powered vehicles, see the Standard Plus Option for coverage on the component.
Air Conditioner (Optional Coverage)
Compressor, compressor clutch, clutch bearing (does not include air conditioning evacuation or recharge.) The A/C Option MUST be selected for coverage on the component.
Lifted Vehicle (Optional Coverage)
Over-sized tires up to 37 inches and lift kits up to 7.5 inches are allowed if Lifted Vehicle Option is selected.
Roadside Reimbursement
All the same offers, now available for 12 Months or 12,000 Miles.
Standard Plus (Optional Coverage)
The Standard Coverage, plus: Starter Motor and Voltage Regulator, Alternator, Electric Radiator Fan Motor and Fan Clutch, Cylinder Head Gaskets and Intake Manifold Gaskets, Fuel Pump, Fuel Injectors and Fuel Pressure Regulator (does not include Fuel Injection Pump and Fuel Injection Control Pressure Regulator - IPR), Roadside Assistance for the term of the contract.
Standard Diesel Package
This coverage is similar to the Standard Plan, but has higher payout limits to help accommodate the added expense of owning a Diesel. The Standard Plus and Turbo coverages are with the Diesel Package. A/C and Lifted Vehicle options are also available for Diesel vehicles.
The Standard Plan is available for all passenger vehicles with no mileage limitations.

Transaxle
The same Transmission coverage as Standard Coverage, plus transaxle and constant velocity axle joints.
Four Wheel Drive
The same 4WD coverage as Standard Coverage , plus axle shafts, wheel bearings, and constant velocity axle joints. The differential housing is covered only if damaged by an internally lubricated part.
Steering
All internal lubricated parts of manual and power steering gear housing and power steering pump.
Seals & Gaskets
Cylinder head gaskets and intake manifold gaskets. All other seals and gaskets are covered only when replaced as part of a covered repair.
Fuel System
Not only fuel injectors, but also fuel pumps and fuel pressure regulators. (Does not include fuel injection pump).
Cooling System
The same Cooling System coverage as Standard Coverage, plus electrical radiator fan motor and fan clutch.
Electrical
Alternator, starter motor and voltage regulator.
Premium Plus (Optional Coverage)
The Premium Coverage, plus: Master Electronic Control Module, Power Window Motor, Power Door Lock Actuator & associated hand operated switches, Power Seat Motor, Radiator, Heater Core, Upper & Lower Control Arms, Control Arm Shafts and Bushings, Torsion Bars, Master Brake Cylinder, Disc Brake Caliper & Wheel Cylinders. Rental Reimbursement of 1 day for the first 4 hours of published industry standard time of an approved repair. An additional day of rental will be authorized for every additional 8 hours of labor time required to do the repairs. The limit on this reimbursement is up to $40 per day for up to 6 days per Mechanical Breakdown or series of Breakdowns related in time or cause. Roadside Assistance is for the term of the contract.
The Premium Plan is for most passenger vehicles with 120,000 miles or less.
Premium Pro
This coverage includes all the components listed for the Premium Plus plan but has higher payout limits, longer contract terms and allows for vehicles with 130,000 miles or less.
Superior Coverage
The Superior Plan will cover any vehicle component that is covered by the original vehicle manufacturers’ warranty, except for the Exclusions and items not covered listed on the vehicle service contact and items listed below:
- Normal Maintenance Service
- Any Body Parts
- Any Tune-up Item
